Montgomery Hall Parking Garage
Savannah College of Art and Design
Completed in 2013
The first phase of the SCAD Montgomery Hall project, this parking garage was constructed in preparation for the residence of the housing facility that was scheduled for the second phase of the project. The 412 space garage, constructed entirely from precast concrete, provides an ample amount for the 500 students that are expected to reside in Montgomery Hall. The parking garage was opened to the SCAD community immediately following completion so special planning and consideration was taken during the following phases as to minimize the disruption to student life and university functions. Construction was completed in collaboration with Clayco Construction, a general contracting firm out of St. Louis, Missouri. www.claycorp.com.
